TJB Sight & Sound
One designer's quest to understand photography, videography, and audio
I am not a photographer. But I do enjoy taking pictures. I am not a videographer or filmmaker, but I love movies and video. I'm not an audio engineer, but I'm fascinated by acoustics and sound. As a designer, I limit my offerings to design, page layout, and basic photo editing. I prefer to let the experts in photo and video create the assets, and I assemble them into an attractive package for the client. But that shouldn't stop me from learning about and better understanding these crafts. Knowing more about how these elements are made will make me better at using them in my projects. And perhaps someday I may even feel confident enough to create some of these assets for clients on my own. For now, I'm content to explore, make some mistakes, and learn about the art and science of multimedia at my own pace.
With that disclaimer out of the way, here are some of my experiments with various types of media. Enjoy, critique, laugh...whatever.
